1. CONTEST DESCRIPTION. The GoDaddy Ink Your Link Contest (the “Contest”) is a contest of skill in which eligible GoDaddy customers submit an essay (the “Entry”) about their business or business idea. In your Entry, tell us: what your business does—or, if it is still an idea, what you plan to build and for whom; why the business and its domain are personally meaningful to you; how your domain or online presence connects to your business journey; and why you would want to commemorate your business or domain with a tattoo. Share the details that make your story your own. Entries will be judged using the criteria in Section 5.
2. ELIGIBILITY. This Contest is only open to Entrants who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, and at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Entrants must be an active GoDaddy customer as of the time of entry and remain as such throughout the Contest period, as further defined below in timing (Section #3). Entry submitted cannot be subject to a contract or other agreement or be bound by any obligations to any third party that would limit the Sponsor’s ability to use Entrant’s essay submission or exercise the rights contemplated in these Official Rules. Employees of GoDaddy Inc. (the “Sponsor”) are not eligible to enter or win. Individuals materially involved in the development, administration, judging, production, or fulfillment of the Contest on behalf of Sponsor, Marden-Kane, Inc. (the “Administrator”), or any other entity are also ineligible. This Contest is void where prohibited and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Winning is contingent on eligibility verification and compliance with these Official Rules.

All Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant that it determines has violated these Official Rules or undermines the intended entry process or breached a representation or warranty at any time. Entries that do not comply with the Official Rules, including, without limitation, the above Entry Submission Requirements, will be disqualified at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Once an Entry is submitted, the Entry is final and may not be modified by Entrant. Material submitted will not be acknowledged or returned. By participating in the Contest, Entrant acknowledges and understands that their Entry will not place Sponsor under any obligation and that Sponsor may use the content without any restriction, compensation or notification to Entrant. Entrant also acknowledges that other Entrants may submit Entries that are similar or identical to the Entrant’s Entry and that Entrant will not be entitled to any compensation or right to negotiate with Sponsor or its agents with regard to these similarities.
5. JUDGING CRITERIA. Entries will be judged based on the following judging criteria (the “Judging Criteria”). Maximum total: 100%. The Judging Criteria will be used to evaluate Entrants in all phases of the Contest:
- Strength and authenticity of the business story – (30%).
- Meaning of the Business/domain to the Entrant – (25%).
- Strength and credibility of the business concept – (20%).
- Connection between the business/domain and the entrant’s entrepreneurial journey – (15%).
- Distinctiveness and storytelling potential of the entry – (10%).
6. WINNER DETERMINATION (JUDGING AND NOTIFICATION).
GENERAL ENTRY JUDGING PERIOD – FIRST ROUND. All eligible Entries received during the Entry Submission Period will be scored by qualified judges selected by the Administrator using the Judging Criteria in Section 5. The twenty (20) highest-scoring Entries will advance to the final round of judging as detailed below to determine the five (5) potential Grand Prize winners (“Winners”). In the event of a tie, tied Entries will be re-evaluated by representatives of the Sponsor who will serve as a tiebreaker using the Judging Criteria above. Ties affecting advancement will be resolved using the tie-breaking procedure below.
POTENTIAL WINNERS JUDGING PERIOD – FINAL ROUND. A panel of GoDaddy judges will independently score each of the top twenty (20) highest-scoring Entries determined in the first round of judging using the Judging Criteria in Section 5. Each Entry’s final-round score will be the average of the scores assigned by judges without a conflict of interest. First-round scores will not be included in the final-round score. Subject to verification and the one-prize-per-person-and-business limitation, the five (5) highest-scoring Entries will be selected as potential Winners, subject to verification.
POTENTIAL GRAND PRIZE WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION. The five (5) potential Winners determined in the final round of judging will be notified by the Administrator via email and/or phone on/about December 11, 2026. Each potential Winner will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release and any other requested documentation (the “Documents”) whereby potential Winners (1) attest that they meet the eligibility requirements and comply with the Official Rules; (2) waives liability against the Released Entities; an (3) consents to undergo and complete a confidential background check. All required Documents must be returned by the date stated in the notification. If a potential Winner cannot be contacted after a reasonable attempt has been made by Administrator (as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion) or fails to timely return the Documents without alteration and in the form presented by Administrator, or declines to undergo a background check, or declines the Grand Prize or declines or is unable to wear a temporary or airbrush tattoo for the campaign photoshoot as required by Section 7, or if any notification is rejected or returned as undeliverable, then such potential Winner will be disqualified and forfeits all rights to be deemed a Winner. Additionally, if the background check reveals that a potential Winner has engaged in conduct that could damage the reputation of Sponsor or any of the Released Entities, as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion, Sponsor may disqualify such Entrant. If a potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, a runner-up, determined using the process described above, may advance as a potential Winner in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Upon disqualification the Sponsor will have no further obligation to that Entrant.
An Entrant will not be deemed a Winner unless and until the Entrant’s eligibility has been verified, all requirements determined by the Sponsor have been fulfilled, and the Entrant has been notified that the acceptance and verification process is complete.

9. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. For purposes of these Official Rules, “Released Entities” means Sponsor, Marden-Kane, Inc. Released Entities assume no responsibility for undeliverable email messages resulting from any form of active or passive email filtering by a user's Internet service provider and/or email client or for insufficient space in user's email account to receive email. If, for any reason, the Contest is not able to run through completion for reasons which may include, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, including any other factors beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control such as a Force Majeure (e.g., war, riots, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, blackouts, supply shortages, order of governmental authority,) an “act of God” (e.g., natural disasters, weather, etc.) or an unforeseeable health event (e.g. pandemic or epidemic), then the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest in whole or in part, without further liability to the Entrants or any third parties. In the event the Contest is cancelled, Sponsor reserves the right but not the obligation to select Winners from among all available non-suspect Entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation, using the Judging Criteria and winner-selection process in Sections 5 and 6 to the extent practicable.
